Made the sauce for Tenina's chicken rendang cooled it in the fridge and just poured over chicken as per the recipe. Covered it in foil and now marinating until I put it in the oven tonight. Smells delicious and authentic. Can't wait to eat it later  :)

Made first pizza cooked in the new pizza oven. A lot of lessons learned :) must thank those who warned about wearing oven mitts and being careful about the steam!

This is how the pizza looked before going into the oven

Tomato-ey sauce , red onion, chorizo, feta, anchovy, olives and fresh oregano

Didn't realise base was way too sticky until too late. Couldn't get it off the paddles..  Had to remove topping   and start again with the base .....was determined not to waste it but it all became pretty messy. Lol

Ended up with a pizza.. But not bearing too much resemblance to the one above!  Tasted ok though .

First effort over... Can only get better from here!!  :-)

The base was a garlic/rosemary one that I had in the freezer

Lovely looking pizza and also muffins. I actually cook my bases for about 5 minutes before I top them. That way its firmer for cooking.
Hally did you use a silicon mould for those muffins?
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Mcmich- was just that I ended up having to scrape the topping off so I could add some more flour to the base to make it a lot less sticky. I had used the metal paddles and the base just stuck fast . After reworking the base found using a wooden paddle much better. Topping ended up somewhat odd looking having been unceremoniously scraped onto a plate lol

Cookie- do you put your bases onto a cold or preheated stone? ( a pizza newbie question.. :). )
