http://www.gourmettraveller.com.au/potato_and_cabbage_gratin.htm - it has white wine and red wine vinegar.  Is this the one?

Cabbage & potato gratin from Neil Perry was mentioned recently and I made this recipe today which has a whole bottle of white wine and lots of cheese in it, it's rather rich.  Hally has emailed me her version of the same recipe (why 2 different versions from the same chef for the same recipe is a bit puzzling) and it looks a lot better.  I am going to use a small portion of my leftovers to stir through beaten eggs and see if it makes for a nice frittata with nothing else added - this should cut through the richness.  Down the track I will try Hally's copy.

Started off making just enough for me (cut down the recipe to 1/3) and it just wouldn't work out. So I binned that lot and had to make the full recipe. Anyone know how long spaghetti pasta can dry like this for before being used?

CP - maybe just dry it - use what you need and freeze the rest.  I've done this freezing it in portions and it's worked well . . .

I use Chookie's No Fuss Recipe for the woven loaf. That one has 50g wholemeal flour and 50g rye flour in it.

Cheesy puffs, sour cream loaf and Hally' chocolate zucchini cake. Not sure what went wrong with the cake as it is dense and flat. May have needed a smaller tin? Will make a Nice pudding with custard though.

Those strawberry muffins look good CP.
I've also made a variation on the herb dip as all my parsley has gone to seed, so I used coriander instead. dinner tonight is fried eggs and ham :D

No there were 3 but I only bought 2. I made one batch of salted butter and one unsalted.

I am looking forward to the strawberry bran muffins.
