Up early this morning and made some mini dampers in the pie maker.

I used: 290g S/R flour
220g milk
70g tasty cheese grated
About 1/2 cup of parsley, rosemary and thyme.
Put it all in the  *: and on  :: for 1 minute.
Divided it into 8, rolled into balls and pressed into pie maker cooked for 8 minutes.
Too Easy

Jayde,  meatballs look great.  Must make some will use yours and JD experience.  When in Scandinavia a couple of years ago,  we had meat balls every where.  Some were small and some large.  Some delicious and some not.
Michele, what a good idea for the damper.  I have the traditional size machine, I wonder if they would work in this.?

Yes, preheated the pie maker first - forgot to say that.
The pie makers are really cheap now GF, Kmart and Big W have their own brand.
Can't see why it wouldn't work in your pie maker Chookie.

Done some cooking in last few days.

Ikea meatballs are now a joke over here as they were taken off the shelves in the horsemeat scandal.....

Made chicken broth today with lentils and peas etc plus fresh veg and left over chicken. I need a new pressure cooker as it leaks steam a bit. but it will have to wait. It still works at the moment so that's ok.

Yesterday made Julie's Cobb loaf Into tiger bread again. Also made Gerts strawberry icecream with summer frozen fruit mix.
Day before made chookies chocolate delight and flapjack.

Flapjack
Melt
6ozs butter
6 ozs Demerara sugar
1.5 T golden syrup

Add 13 ozs porridge oats and put in tin.
170'C about 20 to 25 mins until golden brown.

Cut into squares while warm

Sorry this is an imperial recipe.

Love an easy recipe DJ. For the golden syrup is that tablespoons or teaspoons?

Have you checked your rubber seal DJ, that may be all you need to replace?

Thanks CP, I can't find a new seal even on google! It is over ten years old. I might try again IDC.

Tablespoons for flapjack!

T tablespn
t teaspoon

No choccie  Frozzie but choc chips in it would be good, but  this is popular as it is in this house.
