They may only be small, but placing sprinkle mouths & attaching the eyes on 45 of them, took way longer than expected    finished at 2 am....then DD announced this morning she wouldn't go today, as they are only watching movies     Tuff luck girlie!  She's on the bus as I type

Maddy they are delightful and yes, DD had no option but to go to school today after that mammoth effort of yours.  What a great Mum you are to sacrifice much needed sleep to get this task done.  Bravo maddy.

Maddy, those cupcakes are simply amazing!!!! I do hope your DD explains to her classmates the time and effort that went into them!!

I made the UK newsletter buttercream ( it's quick), dipped in sanding sugar, choc bits for ears/eyes & nose, and attached mini confetti for the eyes, and edible texta for the pupils.  The mouth was choc sprinkles, so trying to pick up those little suckers & place them was time consuming.     Would have been quicker to make cake pops
