Made chicken stock in the slow cooker over the past 24 hours.. First time in slow cooker.. Smelt good.. Will have to see what its like.. Did in slow cooker after saw quirky jos post..

Kimmyh,  that looks lovely.  Don't worry about being too cold for Ice cream.  They will love it.  For DH's  Birthday party I made Rum and Raisin Ice Cream and it has all gone. 
We are still eating leftovers so no cooking today.

Chicken stock is simmering on the stove at the moment.  May do something else later.

Butter, and then as per legal requirement (according to DD), buttermilk scones from the EDC.  :D

I made the butter using this method, didn't get as much buttermilk as usual, but that may have been because the cream was very close to date.
