Delicious Maddy :)

Today I have made

Cobb Loaf
A large pot of vegetable soup
Zucchini & Rice Pie
2 Small jam puffs with the left over pastry
Date Crumble Slice
Meat filling for a pie for later in the week when some children are coming for dinner.

Now I am going to sit down and have a cuppa :)

I was out this morning while DH was at car club. (One of the wives calls it the prostrate shed!). This afternoon I had plans to bake. DH decided we needed to go to the spud shed for a look. He bought a rather large pumpkin, now I have both my machines making versions of pumpkin soup.  :-)). I will have to wait to bake and cook dinner. It is cold, windy and rainy so soup will go down well.

Looks like a fabulous cupcake to me :)
All I've managed today is a loaf of bread as it all got eaten at breakfast and there would have been riots :-))

Maddy they look great. We have the argument between muffins vs. cupcakes all the time, it seems t me that a lot of people call cupcakes muffins or don't know the difference between the two.

Did anyone used to call them patty cakes back in the dark ages?

Creampuff, we grew up in the dark ages calling them Patty cakes too.

Now it is cupcakes. :)

Is cupcakes more American thing.

I think we called them queen cakes.
DD calls everything cupcakes - I do make muffins in paper cases generally, and apparently that's the rule (according to a 3yr old).

I've made gingerbread men with DD today, and that's about it.  Not very productive, but I think there's still enough around for tomorrow's lunches.

We actually called them 'little cakes'. I have no idea why, that was just what Mum called them.
