You use sourdough starter Suzanne. It's Karens recipe from here http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=11606

The muffins look tasty. Did you use a rye starter or white starter please?

Chookies white starter.
Your English muffins look great uni. I find they don't brown up as much if you use semolina instead of polenta.

Uni the muffins look great. They look like English muffins should.
I can't wait to be able to make them again when I have a proper kitchen and my great grannies girdle iron to cook them on. Passed down the female lime for many generations. Not sure DD will want it.

Heated a bought home made steak pie and cooked broccoli for lunch.
Cooked bacon, egg and tomatoes for tea with bought apple pie for afters.

Great typo DJ. I can see you cooking in great grannies GIRDLE. Made me giggle as I remembered my mothers great platex rubber girdle full of tiny holes. She used to powder it up and when she sat she made a pattern on the back of her dress of tiny talcum dots!
