OMG Katie, that is beautiful.  My effort today doesn't look as good as this but it does small nice. I made a Norwegian rustic brown bread.  (grovbrod)  If it tastes good when cut,  I will post the recipe as it is a bit different and very healthy
I have some of those shells, do you cook them prior to filling them?

I saw that focaccia just after it came out of the oven and it was very hard not to cut a piece off  ;D  I'm sure Katie will give us a review later - can't wait to hear if it tasted as good as it looks.

Thanks Chookie, it tasted really nice. I'll look toward to your recipe, it sounds tasty.

On the box of shells it didn't say to pre-cook them, but every recipe I've seen always seemed to - so I par boiled them for about 5 minutes.

You should have cut a piece of Judy. I was too busy gossiping to think about offering you some.

I pre-cook them too, so much easier to work with when slightly softened.

No way would I cut into any of your loaves before your DH had the first go Katie.  I just love seeing what you are cooking/have cooked when I call in late in the afternoon on your day off.

Love that recipe too. Thanks for the tip about turning into reindeer. How cool is that?
