Lovely bread, Chookie. And your cupcakes look delish, Cookie :)

Made 2 lots of Chookie's strawberry conserve. So yum!!

Whipped up a fruit sorbet for the boys' after school treat. Just 2 ingredients: frozen watermelon and ripe bananas.

Suzanne what clever thinking for the reindeer.

Gert,  my BBQ is an old Rennai.  Looks like a Weber.  Daughter has. Q. , but a bit difficult to adjust the temp.  The wet newspaper is an excellent idea.  I though this might be a handy method for campers who take their gas BBQ with them on Hols.  The rolls,  once I cut off the burnt bottom were lovely.  Will give this another go when I have time.

Today made Thermomixer's Chicken and Corn soup.  Used BBQ chicken instead of fresh and add a dessertspoon of Tenina's chicken stock.  Also making carrot and lemon marmalade with a bit of Grand  Marnier,  as it is for Xmas presents.

I have been wondering how many serves I can get out of a bought,  family size BBQ chicken.  I think it is about 12 generous serves.  All this for $8 plus what is in the pantry.  That is 2 lots of soup x 2 liters , 8 large serves
                                                                 Chicken and salad,  2 serves
Chinese chicken and veg omelet,  2 serves
