Ouch CP! I hope you held it under cool running water for 20 minutes. Burns are nasty.
I've just cooked myself a single serve of the mushroom stroganoff recipe linked in the 5:2 thread. It's really nice - I might even try it on the family next.

All the cooking looks wonderful.
Us Lake folk are lucky and only got to 31 today, still that's hot enough - not air conditioner weather but quite pleasant downstairs with the fans on.  :D

Hope your hand is OK CP.

Ouch!! CP!! Do you have an aloe vera plant? Best thing for burns IMO -

Mich- hootycreeks is just a really fun name for a recipe -dry ingredients are layered in a jar and instructions to complete given to recipient ... Can't link from my phone but its here on the forum. With a name like that who could resist!!  ;D ;D

Just some of Megan Janes's best cooked mayonaise today. Will give a jar to DD on Saturday when we take the girls home.

I heard it sizzle before I felt it  :D actually it doesn't even hurt - I think I stuck it in my mouth so quick, thats why I dropped the pot onto the glass. I've got some pawpaw ointment on it with one of those waterproof bandaids. One of the hazards of getting excited when you bring bread out of the oven  :D

Hope it heals quickly CP.  :)

Well today between 1 thermomix, 2 bowls, 1 7yr old who wanted "to grate cheese the old fashioned way" (and did a whole 1kg block) and myself, we have made:

3x lemon cheesecakes + 4 individual heart shaped ones
3x 19 bread buns
4x spinach herb bread
4x onion pizzas
2x brownies
5x 12 zucchini muffins
and
5x12 quiche muffins.
 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
:D

Sounds nasty CP, hope it heels quickly.  Glad the oven door didn't break.

Wow Astarra, a marathon cooking day for you.  Great work  :)
