Nice looking marmalade ladies.

No cooking here again today.

Made some mayo. Didnt intend to bake but our milkman dropped off bananas that were starting to turn, so I used my mini brownie tin to make little cakes. I didnt think they woukd rise so much, I 3/4 filled the tin. The boys are enjoying them :)

CC and DJ your marmalade looks lovely. Very professional.

No cooking here today except a loaf of bread as I caught up with a couple of girlfriends before school goes back. It was lovely.

I made the first step of ice-cream tonight, getting through heaps of it at the moment with this heat.  I don't think my TMX likes the heat either, I'd put some ingredients into the bowl but when the 300mls of cream only weighed half of that, I realised the scales were out and I hadn't checked them as I usually do before measuring anything.  I therefore doubled the remaining ingredients, well I think I did - I just put in as much as would go to the max mark.  So tomorrow morning I'll have a double batch of vanilla ice-cream to churn and hope that it is all that I expect it to be, not sure how correct the measurements are now. :-))

No cooking here today. Going away for two night tonight so the kids will have to fend for themselves so they will more than likely go to McDonalds.

I came home from mum's with 4 supermarket bags full of plums, so plum jam and plum sauce on the plan for today. Any other suggestions for things to do with plums? Thought I might do something for dessert tonight...plum and apple crumble or a pie of some sort.

LOL Hally, am hoping everyone will like it. A spoonful goes a long way. Neighbours are reviewing this first batch in the morning. Fingers crossed it gets a good one. Looks aren't everything....  ;)
