Yesterday I made crustless quiche (another of the recommendations DH was given by you all) and baked it on top of the risotto leftovers from the day before. It got a 2 thumbs up from DH and DD(1), who have asked that it becomes a regular feature on the menu.Today I chopped up a large batch of dried homegrown rosemary to put into the herb jar (it avoids the 'bits' that DD hates using it this way) and made garlic rice. I also made Bron's tomato sauce, but haven't done the meatballs to go in it yet. So we had leftovers for dinner today instead Did we let you know that DH made the meatballs, sauce & rice a couple of days after I got back from hospital, by the way?? We all LOVED them.
