Chookie I love Florentines too.

Mandi as I said that cake is so lovely. Did it last long?

Great cake Mandi. I'm so pleased you posted the photo on the forum and I loved the way you cut it. Well done.

No it certainly didn't last long at all. But there was a house full of will participants to eat it :)
And Judy I asked each person which part of the cake they would like and this was the end result after serving several people and I couldn't help admire the way it looked and had to take a photo. :)

Love the cake Mandi.

Monkey bread from quirky cooking. Not having any luck with bread balls this week. This is the second time they have collapsed. Think it's my tin.

The birthday cakes looks wonderful; I love your Florentines Chookie - have never tried to make them but must give them a go this Christmas. I am cooking tomato ketchup at the moment and almost forgot to make dinner for DH so it will probably be soup from the freezer now and sourdough of course.

Lovely cake, Dede. Pretty florentine, Chookie. I've only tried it once and it was super sweet. Didn't like it then, but yours look so pretty I'd give it another go 😁

Cashew nuts, air roasted to perfection, for making butter chicken later. 4 mins, 170C. Did I say I love my airfryer (despite its occasional tantrums)? 😄

They look great BZB, so evenly roasted that way. I've added it to the 2nd list of a/f times.

Meals for the week done. Macaroni and bolognese, Thai basil chicken and garlic prawn risotto that went a bit claggy waiting for DH to bring me sour cream. So will probably turn into arancini balls. Also made mini pizzas for school lunches.

Well done INAID.
I've made a fruit cake this morning. Nothing else yet.

You can add some more stock when reheating the prawn risotto INAID, that will loosen it.
