Great cooking girls and Mr Cookie.
Made Vanilla Ice cream, 2 lots of yoghurt, KFC, Mango Fluff. and Scones in AF. Fried rice.
The Age Good Food has just printed a recipe for Sushi rolls made with Quinoa, I did this more than a year ago. I used a traditional filling but like their Vegatarian one so will give this a go. Sounds like showing off, sorry , but find us Thermi people often run ahead of fashion.

Great cooking girls and Mr C :D.

I tried porcupines (recipe on the RC-the one that uses passata) last night.
They were good served with some spinach leaves, steamed snake beans and pan fried yellow squash. The teenagers woofed them and asked to have this again. I put some pepper/spice mix that I had bought at the markets instead of mint. It served 4 in our house, not 6  ;D

I just made nori rolls, and rice paper rolls, for lunches this week.

I am making a lamb casserole for dinner. :)
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

It looks tasty Djinni. Chookie I love the idea of quinoa sushi. We really like the nutty flavour of quinoa.

Mmm, yes. Quinoa Sushi sounds like a great idea.
Today was mostly prep for the week, Bill Granger's breakfast muffins,  Wholefood Simply Nut Free Bliss Balls, made and froze sandwiches for DD's lunch and prepped a slow cooker beef burgundy for tomorrow :)

I will make some bread this afternoon. I had to mention that after speaking with Nikkit at her class on Wednesday I had my first really successful yoghurt. It was a bit runny so I strained it for a while and now it is very thick and delicious. Thanks Nikkit.

I've done the bread, also CP's Muesli Slice and some tomato sauce for the pasta.

Hi jamborie
What would you normally put in sandwiches to freeze them?

I freeze ham and cheese or ham and mustard/corned beef and beetroot relish/turkey and cranberry sauce Dot - they freze really well.  I'll be interested in what others freeze too.

Ha ha cookie, love it.  Well, not really but it reminds me of Geoff's mate who used to make fritz (polony) pizzas!

Hi jamborie

These were just simple vegemite ones, but I've made ham and cheese successfully before. They are already cut and in separate lunch boxes. Saves sooooo much time in the mornings.
