2 supermum's on the forum (at least) I don't know where you girls get your energy and time in the kitchen. Very lucky families.  ;D

I would have loved a mum that cooked, I would go over to my friends places and their mum's had butterfly cakes and yummy homemade treats. It was never a problem to have my friends over, mum would just crack open another packet of iced vovos. To be fair mum was a great seamstress and I probably had a lot more clothes than my friends as a teenager and by that stage we had all stopped eating anyway.  :D

All our Mum's are/were special in lots of different ways Mich. I would have loved to come to your house so that I could eat bought biscuits.
Ladies you have all been cooking up so much. I'm sure your families will remember it with love.

I have a batch of Chookie's Hot Cross Buns rising. I'm going to make them into mini buns so that we can eat one without feeling tooooooo guilty. They are so nice.

I made some of TM Essential’s Apricot Jam Coconut Slice, some of Helen’s Spaetzle – the tofu version.  They were really great, good fun to make and worked out well, even though I forgot to add the salt and didn’t give them quite enough cooking time – as far as I am concerned, they were perfect!  We enjoyed them with a vege stew last night.

I also made a Mexican Sweet Potato and Puy Lentil Mole which I am not too sure about – I am hoping it will taste better ‘next day’ – it’s in the freezer just now but I will drag it out later in the week and see how it goes.

Smoked Cod Kedgeree, stove top although could easily cook in TMX. Steamed the eggs in TMX. Perfect when cooked on 100 and not Varoma, in the 5.
Meyer Lemon Butter, TMX.
Pea and ham Soup. Slow cooker
Waffles with Maple syrup, TMX.

I've always wanted to try the Smoked Cod Kedgeree Chookie, how did you enjoy it?
