I've got 2 sick 4 year olds here so we are having a quiet day at home. I made pumpkin soup from the chip for lunch, with fresh bread. They both ate it so I'm happy with that. I've made the fluffy vanilla pikelets' for my son to have after school, and then I'll get started on spaghetti bolognaise with lots of hidden veg, and maybe trtlmt garlic bread balls.
So much lovely food ideas in this thread! I'm eating anzac biscuits that my 7 year old son made yesterday, while having a cuppa and browsing the forum 😊

You have been busy Emmy.  I hope your littlies get better soon.

Chookie, those pot stickers look interesting.

This afternoon I made a chicken, leek & mushroom pie, egg & bacon slice, boiled fruit cake and some rock cakes.

Just the pastry Troupie.  I use the recipe from the EDC book but use 100g plain flour & 100g SR flour the rest is as per the recipe.  I slice the bacon by hand, mix the eggs add some sliced tomatoes, herbs and grated cheese on top.

The pot Stickers are nice, also very flexible as to what you fill them with. When in Melb this week we had lunch at a Japanese restaurant. I had a Bento box and it had 2 pot stickers in it.  Theirs were a bit more gingery than mine, but very similar otherwise.
Made some Cumquat jam and it was very popular so will be making more today. Pea and ham soup also.
