I made Nico Moretti's Spiced Mexican Tomato and Corn Soup from the Recipe Community.  I put a little less corn in it and next time I will use 2 red onions but other than that no changes.  I wasn't sure about the addition of avocado to finish it off, but it was delicious and worked really well.

The first quantity of oil given in the recipe was way too much for me but I used what was left over for sauteing the garlic so it wasn't wasted.

CC, that warm chicken salad sounds wonderful.

I made Chookies, Apple cake tart at weekend and DS2 has requested it again.  Loved it and I used this spice http://www.gewurzhaus.com.au/apple_cake_spice instead of the cinnamon .  Very, very nice.  Thanks Chookie  :-*

I'm making Karen's pulled pork marinade, another favourite in our home, ready for the slow cooker.

I am making caramelised onions in the slow cooker (first time) and will be interested in how it turns out. I plan to sprinkle this on Judy's Moroccan carrot and lentil soup - along with some feta cheese. Perfect dinner item on a cold wintry night.

I made some Macadamia, Cranberry and Molasses biscuits this morning. It only made a smallish batch, however DH and I cleaned up 7 of them with coffee this morning. Little gutses.  :)
