We had chicken skewers with satay sauce http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=355.0 for dinner tonight. For some reason, it wasn't as nice as usual. Maybe because I spent 5 hours in the garden this afternoon.
I made DJ's soft springy. Loaf http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=14722.0 and was really impressed with how high the loaf was

I decided at 4.10pm that as it is so cold and wet we would have soup and fresh.bread for dinner. I set one machine to work making a vegie soup with barley in it and did  Uni's 1 hour rolls in the other. It was a lovely warm dinner.
I have to take afternoon tea to an AGM tomorrow so wizzed up a Chocolate Fruit and Nut Slice form Tenina.

Wonderful cooking. Makes me very hungry reading all the posts.
I haven't been able to do much cooking lately and when I have I've needed the boys to help me. They are very proud of their latest efforts, cheese and bacon bread sticks. They both plaited the bread before we drowned it in cheese

I made Tenina's Chocolate Fruit and Nut slice to take to a car club meeting today. Everyone seemed to like it. I certainly did.

I feel a bit guilty as I can't be bothered going through the rigmarole of posting photo's lately  :( I wish we could post as easily as Facebook. I would've posted pics of my tortillas but they looked exactly like the ones in the book and the ones posted here, and the chicken enchiladas that I reviewed were pretty much the same as the pic in the book as well. Only those that know me on FB will see my photo that I posted.

My effort today was pathetic compared with what has been posted.
Made a mini loaf in the SC. wholemeal Spelt and white with seeds. Then some Yoghurt , then some Caramalised Balsamic to use in a salad tomorrow. Then started off some Kefir to make some Mayo. Really should have baked more but washed and dried 5 loads of washing.

Wow, wonderful cooking everyone..

CC, I wonder where you get the energy for all that cooking :)

Made Too easy chocolate cake(TM5 chip) for some friends who came over, curry puffs and vegetable pizza yesterday night.. And my sour dough starter is still sitting outside trying to soak in all the wild bacteria ;) Will get it inside tomorrow and hope I can make a loaf soon!
