Kimmy's savoury scone pinwheels. I substituted the bacon for sun dried tomatoes. Also made some gnocchi for dinner tonight.

Thanks Judy. I think I'm back in successful cooking mode again, thank goodness. DH had 3 for morning tea so they must be OK.

Michele thanks for linking Kimmy's recipe for the pinwheels. I will make these as snacks for the CFA.
About the garlic process, l got the idea of snapping off a frozen bit from Judy. I will post proportions for stir fry mixture. Most of the Garlic that you can buy during the year comes from China or Mexico. It has been treated to preserve it.  If you can buy Australian garlic, now is the time to do it.  It is as cheap as it will get now .
The jam I made yesterday was my recipe for the Lemon and Carrot Marmalade and I added a 3 cm square of Cumquat paste. Interesting. ,!
Had a disaster yesterday. Tried to make a Jamie Oliver recipe for Red Cabbage, Apple and Bacon. Burnt it. Chooks will love it. Will make it again today, but will put in SC when I add the cabbage. We are having Roast Duck for dinner tomorrow and this should go well with it. Hate to waste my home grown cabbage.

Those pinwheels look great! I think my kids would love them! Another thing to add to my list!

Today I've been making some wonton/dumpling wrapper and I've just finished making the filling for the wontons....now to wrap them and put them in the varoma to steam for lunch!

I made chocolate mousse in the thermomix yesterday and I was so please with how much easier it was to do in the thermomix than using various different bowls to do it the old fashioned way! So happy! It used to put me off making it by how time consuming and messy it was!

I made a Kilo of plums into plum jam. Then had a Nanna nap. I seem to be doing it more and more on these warm days. ( the sleep, not the jam!)

CC, much better.  I cooked the bacon and fennel seeds, added onion and then apple. I layered this mixture between layers of red cabbage and poured some balsamic vinegar over. Cooked on low for 3 hours.  They said to make day before required.

Big cook up yesterday. Cooked chocolate B and B pud, Cherry and Raspberry trifle,( custard from chip), cheese and herb scones, 20 bread rolls 3 bread sticks, using Cookies Vienna bread recipe. Steamed new pots from garden in TMX bowl and dressed them with garlic butter and lemon juice.
I dug up the last of the garlic and prepared it , vacuum sealed it and froze the cloves whole .
I was wondering how much I could make without washing out the TMX bowl.  I made 4 things before having to wash out bowl. First custard, then Vienna bread then cheese scones, then bread rolls.
Visitors for Dinner tonight.
