Great cooking everyone. I love to read what members are cooking. It is a delight to have lots of mouths to feed. We had visitors and I went to a lot of trouble with the main meal of Roast Duck, roast pots, pumpkin, ratatouille, red cabbage and apple, Broard beans , gravy.  But what really continues to surprise me is the delight everyone gets from the sweets. I always have 2 or 3 sweets. Last night I offered vanilla ice cream with Salted Caramel sauce. Triffle with Cherries and Raspberries in layers and Chocolate  bread and butter Pudding. There was lots of mix matching. Still some left over.

Uni, what do you think of the Cloud bread. ? I have looked at this recipe before and was fascinated by it but didn't quite like the sound of it.

Your meal sounds quite beautiful Chookie. It's fun deciding what to prepare for guests and then doing it.
Uni did the Cloud bread puff up over night?

Yum Kimmyh is there a recipe for apricot curd?
Would you share it please?
Thanks!
I actually used teninas lemon curd recipe. Reduced lemon juice to 2 tabs, deleted rind and used 250g apricots. Cooked apricots first 5mins 100c speed 2 then puréed speed 8 1min. Then proceeded with recipe. http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4257.0
There is a recipe on the forum for apricot curd but it uses apricot jam and I didn't want to make more jam. http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=7904.0

I love yoghurt with powdered milk too.

Nearly forgot. Children asked for hot cross buns. Here's the first batch for the year. I'm crazy and love it!

They look beautiful. I've made hot cross buns before, reasonably successfully, but I wasn't happy with my crosses.

Today, I made overnight bread (last night and again tonight), a garlic soy chicken all in one dinner and some ice cream. Planning to make apple pie tomorrow, so will prepare the apple pie filling early in the day. I thought about doing it tonight for tomorrow, but it's not necessary.
