The pizzas sound lovely Chookie. I made some of your Hot Cross Buns today. I put sour dried cherries and a tiny few Choc bits.
I had one and they taste beautiful. The best ever.

There's nothing more rewarding than a result which is your best ever cookie. Well done.

I was given a big bag of figs yesterday so I made fig and ginger jam and a fig upside down cake. Both came out pretty good.

I still have nearly a kilo left which i washed and froze.

It's nice when we're given a quantity of home grown produce Den, it makes us scurry to our recipe books. I would never have thought to freeze figs uncooked, what do you do with them later?
I have more rhubarb, quinces and now a whole Jap pumpkin to do something with when I can find the time.

I've never frozen them before but the person who gave them to me said they are fine to freeze fresh for cooking at a later date.

I made some Nutella scrolls. I wanted to cook them and take them out with me yesterday so I made them the night before and put them in the fridge. They turned out well. Apparently they are very nice, they were easy to make.

Cookie, they look lovely, how can you resist them. I made some diet type Nutella recently. Not wonderful.
Yesterday made Recipe tin eats Chicken in Balsamic vinegar. Very easy but I prefer my RedSilk Chicken recipe. It is probably the ginger that makes the difference.
Made Nay Nay scones for morning tea for workers and Cream of Cauliflower soup for lunch.

Using fruit given to me I made slow cooked stewed quinces http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/slow-cooker-poached-cinnamon-vanilla-quinces/3c463eb6-69ea-4ef6-8b4a-3b045fdbaf2d and a batch of cookie's rhubarb & apple jam http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=3785.0, adding some strawberries as well.

I gave most of the scrolls away Chookie. DH doesn't want to eat much as the shingles has affected his mouth on one side.

No cooking today.

Judy the colour of your quinces is beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed the few I stewed.

I've made Tenina's new Carrot cake this morning. The flavour is incredible but with all the blitzing there are no little bits of carrot through it. I will have to get used to that.
I also have a loaf of Classic dough rising.
