They certainly do. What will you put in them Chookie?

These are the first ones I have made in the Miele oven at Invermay. They had no 'stringy ' bit to scrape out inside. Baked 2 trays at the same time. They are verycrispy.
Cookie, Ral and I sampled a couple with Berry jam and cream.
Will probably fill them with cream and dip tops in chocolate.
Mab, a couple of tips.
Use the largest eggs you can get.
Wait until dough is cool before adding well beaten eggs.
They are cooked when golden brown.

Good recipe if you have lots of eggs.

Today's effort in cold oven start. Laucke white flour, 450 g, 50g each of oat bran and Chia seeds. 350 water and 2 rounded teaspoons yeast.

The loaf looks perfect to have with soup. It will definitely be made here in the next week or so, unless we get a heat wave!!

I've just made some Tandoori paste to make chicken tonight. I will do some Naan soon to go with it then cook rice tonight and dinner is taken care of.

Thank you Judy. Thought the Chia might be a bit crunchy, but was ok. Can soak it, might try this next time.
Had Smoked kippers for lunch. The real deal, Scottish ones. Delicious.
Ral had Vegemite and walnut on the new loaf.

Ral doesn't like them. I eat the fine bones but they are still a challenge.
Today I am cooking 4/4 lamb chop sweet curry. Will start today and finish tomorrow. Also lamb and barley soup.
We had smashed Avo, bacon and egg on toast for breakfast.

About 4 months ago I read that Nigella said that you could freeze fresh coriander leaves in a paper bag. I tried it. This is the result. Good for cooking but I wouldn't add it as fresh to a salad.
