CC, I was also thinking of Judy winning that competition but thought it was mushroom crepes.
Bought some lemons at the Farmers Market. Expensive , but the size of oranges and no pips. Might make a Lemon Delicious Pud.

I love this Woman’s Weekly recipe, the original had scallops in it as well but they are very expensive so I only use prawns.

Thanks Judy. It is a lovely recipe, but I can’t have onion.
I have just baked a Wholemeal, Spelt and grain loaf., but can’t post photo via Tapatalk as it is no longer compatible with the latest Apple update.

Are you doing FODMAPS Chookie?
Marina, sort of. I watched the Catalys program and it would seem that I have a slight FODMAP issue but my main problem with onion, apples and artificial sweeteners is that reaction happens too quickly to be a bowel problem. More an intolerance.

Chookie you may be able to eat The green parts of spring onions as a substitute for onion in dishes. Hope this helps.

I watched the Catalyst programme as well and it was really interesting. I am thinking I should look into FODMAP more closely.  I am pretty sure Quirky Jo will have a lot of information on her web site / blog about this.

Boo, thanks for that.   Yes I can eat the green part of spring onions and also chives. I compensate for onion by adding lots of fresh herbs.
Marina, you can purchase an App for FODMAP. I have it on my iPad. Very handy , well presented and very easy to use. There are also spin offs available that suggest substitutes.

Nice loaf Chookie.

I have mixed vegies in the oven roasting for a quiche.  I made apricot chicken yesterday.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I have noticed a couple of books on FODMAP way of eating.
Chookie your bread looks lovely. I can't wait to get home and make some decent bread. We bought some Abbotts bread the other day and it was almost inedible. Today we bought some Brumbys bread and although it was better it doesn't really have much taste. We were only able to bring a loaf away.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
