MJ I'm glad Rambo is ok. He sounds like one tough fella. We lost our pet weiro 3 weeks ago and it was gut wrenching. We now have a new and noisy one to replace him.

Made a Novel Apple Pudding for lunch,  I thought I had posted the recipe but can't find it.   It was in my earlier days so is probably floating out there in outer space ;D ;D ;D  I will post it tonight as it is a little gem.

I found the recipe for Novel Apple Pud,  I posted it on the30th.  Nov 2009.  !!!!  I have called it desserts.   How stupid can one get.  I had just got my TMX  and was new to the computer.   Makes me realize how far I have come,  and how far I still have to go. :o :o :o
I have just rewritten the recipe and posted it on my blog with photo.   I feel a bit embarrassed when I look back at how I wrote this recipe.   I tried to remove it and replace it with the new version, but the Forum System won't let me .

Yesterday I made Isi's Black & White roll, then we had our demo - thanks Nay-Nay, fantastic work.

In the afternoon, I made Isi's normal bread (two small loaves), a version of Cyndi's Zucchini Slice for lunches, and instant Mango Ice-cream for dessert (Frozen banana and defrosted mango).  Love giving the girls "treats" that are little more than fruit.

Chookie, I think if we all went back and looked at some of our early recipes we would do it differently so I wouldn't be too harsh on yourself.  Your recipes are wonderful, no matter how they are written up  :-* :-*  Have you tried clicking on 'modify' on that recipe - you should then be able to make any necessary changes yourself quite easily.  We all do it all the time when we have forgotten an ingredient or piece of advice - just go back into the recipe and change it.  Have a go.

JD,  this recipe needed more than just a face lift.  I have used the modify button before,  but this even needed a new name to the post.

Today I have been inspired by Warren's  Sweet Potato Rolls.   I used left over sweet potato, pumpkin and 1 roast potato from last nights roast dinner.  I changed the method a little and mashed the vegies in the THM,  then added the milk and heated on 50 for 2 mins.   Then proceeded as for any yeast bread, ( 3 teasp. dried yeast).  Left to rise in TMX bowl.  They are doing their last rise now and look good ( not as good as yours Warren).

Made fish cakes with left over mashed potato.  I always make the full recipe as I find I can use the remainder in fish cakes,  reheated or to top cottage pie.  Can also use a bit in bread and soup.  There are fish cake recipes posted so I won't post.

I was wondering what you were going to do with that much veg stock concentrate!  Hope they enjoy it.

What a great gift obbie!

I've made Chookie's Macadamia ANZAC's, Bread, Bechamel for a Tuna Mornay, cooked potato for a potato salad, Bread for my DD, and then I went and did some overdue gardening!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I made MeganJanes passata sauce as a base to add to for the Bucatini with garlic prawns meal I made tonight.  Thoroughly delicious! Thanks MJ.
