Good work Maddy - looks like you have been having fun in the shops.  Is that from the cookware shop in Ryrie St?

Todays efforts so far are 5 seed bread, rustic bread and macarons. The latter are looking ok at the moment.

Made some plum and cinnamon jam, plain plum jam, steamed veggies for dinner and as finger foods for the little one.  Cheese sauce for popeye pasta and plan to make plum and Ginger jam today.  Guess which fruit tree is ready to harvest at the allotment this week  ;D

Also made the rice pud from the everyday cooking book.  Yum!

She's started to have a regular morning nap  :D  Most of my emails / posts / etc tend to be very 'telegraph' style, though, while I try to get as much done as possible!

I've just made Tenina's chocolate fudge, and am waiting for it to cool down and set so that I can try some (fingers tapping on countertop...)

Here's the link http://tenina.com/2008/05/get-fudged/

Pasta and vegies, adapted from  a BBC Goodfood (sort of) and Banana icecream also adapted from a BBC Goodfood. The latter only has 4 ingredients so I'll post it.

Yesterday's effort involved Maddy's Parmesan bread and the Spinach and Fetta Dip. Both delicious.

Made pizzas, ( as requested by 5 year old GD who is staying with us for 3 days ;D),from' no fuss' recipe and turned the left over dough and pizza topping into pizza Scrolls. Another Fruit loaf from Milk and Honey recipe,  but added more fruit and nuts, (Apricots, dates, dried figs,  7 secs. on speed 5,   added during last min. on knead)

Busy day in the kitchen today to make up for not being in there all weekend  :o

Chookies Milk & Honey loaf & her KFC chicken for lunch & Thermomixer's Fennel & Apple soup & Cookie's steamed pudding with stewed apple below instead of jam for tea.  Tea reviews later.

I'm going to prepare two batches of the marzipan because I want to have it ready when I start my holiday fruit cakes as I plan to "fill" some with a "tunnel" of marzipan.  Haven't yet decided exactly how I will do it but it will eventually come to me.

Otherwise I'm not going to be doing much with my TMX for the next couple of weeks.  I recently got Dorie Greenspan's  newly published in English  cookbook,  "Around My French Table"   which I have been anxious to acquire ever since it was published in Spanish last year.  Several members of the eGullet forum got the Spanish edition and were preparing some of the recipes and enthusing about them so much that I just had to get it.
I have a long list that is going to keep me very busy for awhile.  This is a big book, beautiful illustrations and brilliantly written, like all her other cookbooks.
