Today I made some pork snitzels and Zan's super quick curry from 1 x 400g pork fillet plus a cheese and spinach bake.

I made two lots of pumpkin soup. One for lunches in the freezer and the other for dinner.  Mushroom risotto, 1/2 for freezer 1/2 for dinner.  I made chocolate custard for the kids when they got home and I'll probably bang out a cake later tonight to freeze as well.  I am in love with my Bimby.  ;D

Today apart from the 'normal' stuff I make in Thermie, I tried the Tomato noodle soup - without sucessful noodles but someone might be able to help us out on that thread - the soup is very tasty.

I converted a Woolies recipe - chocolate macaroon tart ~ Yum Yum!!

I also made a KFC feast to remember - chicken (from backyard), freshest coleslaw (cabbage & onion just picked), potato and gravy and of course the corn cobs!  ;D

Tonight I am making Risotto Primavera, a new recipe from my consultant, it has broad beans in which I have in abundance in the garden, I also made steamed choc muffins from Quirky cooking website and they were a hit, very easy to do, tomorrow I will be trying the KFC recipe, it has such raves on the forum.  Rainbow

I've made carrot and coriander soup from the fast and easy cookbook today (or FEC)

Then I had a go at the Tikka Paste from the Indian cookbook - I've not used it yet but I've had a taste and it tastes lovely - lots of complex flavours, really nice.  Tomorrow I'm doing a butter chicken with it (must get chicken out the freezer to defrost ... <G>)

well i had planned to make pancakes for breeky before the kids went to daycare for the day but DS1 (3) managed to get his and his brothers bowls and cups downs from the top cupboard to "help" mum get brekky oh and the cereal was on the bench too so i couldnt disappoint his hard work. So thermy got the morning off.
I have planned to make italian meatballs and spagehtti for dinner but i am laking the drive to make the meatballs, its way too hot today. I will have to make myself do it :) unfortunately my house fairy quit  ;D

Not a lot today, probably just quiche and vegies for dinner. Last night I made one of the Coles $10 dinners. It was a curry and is easy in the TMX. I'll post the adaption.

Yes maddy, I got mine on Tuesday - the cutest little things.  Is that oreo/philly cheese mixture as rich as it sounds. Obviously very easy to make and no baking, what's the verdict?  I haven't used mine yet but I want to use a carrot cake for mine and get a bit of practise in before GD's birthday end of December.

Loved it!  Kids voted this the best combination so far (including the cake one's I've made).
The taste and texture is very similar to chocolate ripple cake.

It doesn't taste as sweet as you would think (excluding chocolate exterior of course).......I think this will become the standard as it's just soooo quick & easy  :)

Well the kids are going to be the ones who eat them so guess you have to please them - thanks maddy, I will give them a go.
