After my cookathon yesterday I'm taking it relatively easy today - need to make some nutella/hazelnut chocolate spread and will be making the gourmet beef casserole for tea.

I'm a very untidy cook even with the TMX so I really ought to clear some space in the kitchen today!  ;D

Oh and I might make the lemon, ginger and honey drink for colds since I'm still feeling somewhat grimish .....

All of a sudden its another cookathon!  :-))  :D

:D yes, but she is well and truly ready!
Unfortunately her final year wasn't a challenge for her at all, so she is very eager to move on & expand  ;)

I've made Stollen Spirals, will post the recipe and photo tomorrow. Stained glass window cake (not thermomix), more mini plum puddings and we're having a mushroom risotto for dinner using lots of dried mushrooms. Hope it tastes good.

It's been appalling weather here were I live, 26cm of snow in 4 hours, so I cooked "comfort food", shepherds pie and banana cake.

I cooked shepherd's pie tonight too :)  Next time I do it in the  *: must remember to leave the MC off! It was pretty liquid and (mushy)  Bit of a let down for the menfolk after yesterday's rogan josh that they loved.

We've only a couple of inches of snow here (South Dorset) but even so the roads were pretty treacherous this morning.

CC it has been the complete contrast regarding weather in Central Queensland - with a temp yesterday in the high 30's with a sauna type humidity, shepherds pie was not on the 'shall I cook this today' list. We had KFC chicken with salad and a potato bake and Jo's  choc banana nut ice cream for dessert.  The Christmas goodies are continuing to be made - Tenina's choc nut fudge plus another batch of cookies and cream fudge and rock road.

OK on the agenda today we have a nice Sunday Roast Dinner (veggies steamed in the varoma), some chocolate chip scones (a real favourite in our house) and a cake of some sort - carrot? Oh and I must make my cranberry sauce but that won't take long.  I made it last year, pre  *: days and it burnt slightly on the bottom.  Of course that won't happen this year as Thelma will stir continuously :)

It's only going to be 240 here today and we have actually seen some RAIN-whoopee. Not much but some. I plan to finish off all my Christmas cooking today. Hopefully baby panettone, parmesan sticks shaped as pretzels, bread and I think that's about all for the moment. Oh and some mayonnaise. I should have most things in the freezer than and only have to cook the meats and make the salads on Thursday.

Still waiting for my oven to be fixed so I can get some Christmas baking done!!  Oh well, it's so hot I don't really feel like cooking anyway.  Going out for dinner with the Thermomix girls tonight - woo hoo!  ;D
