Surprise root canal?  :o :o  Did the dentist sneak up on her from behind??   ;D ;D

Seriously though, ouch!  I hope she's ok...nothing funny about a root canal...

The cordial recipe also inspired me and made cherry cordial - yum and a thumbs up from everyone here.

LOL Andrea. No the dentist didn't sneak up, the need to have the root canal work snuck up on her. Twinges one day, agony the next and then the dreaded ROOT CANAL. She's feeling in much less pain now the nerve has been severed. Only her wallet is hurting from the cost of the work to be done. She did admit it would be better than the pain though.

Faffa's Hokey Pokey Biscuits and Narelle's Easy Chocolate Slice.

Froze half the biscuit mixture - thank goodness or I'd probably polish it all off.

A friend wants me to make her some bread dough too, she's dropping in after work.  She wants to make her own bread but I don't really see her doing it the old fashioned way so I said I'd knock up some dough for her and she can take it home and bake it.

At the moment I have in my beloved TM, Quirkycookings chocolate. It smells divine. It's good for you too. I think this is the sort of chocolate they say to have a couple of blocks a day for good health!!!! Add a glass or 2 of red wine and I should be really healthy.  ;D ;D

Will also try making butter for the first time also banana cake with frosting and a sorbet and trying the banana ice cream hope my lunch guests enjoy.

Super happy  ;D with the bread and I don't usually like seedy bread  ;)

Forgot to slash the top of the loaf to make it look beautiful - will try to remember that for next time.

Here's a belated photo of Jo's chicken sausage rolls. We loved them.

How did the chocolate go, Hools??  I made a Mexican version the other day - ground up dried chillies and a cinnamon stick with the rapadura, and added that in - it's soooo delicious!!!  I'm hoarding it - still got a big chunk in the freezer - don't tell anyone!  ;)

Must try those sausage rolls, look great.

Today I made tomato sauce/ketchup

Robyn's vanilla slice (posted in thread) subsituted the custard powder and really yum (if not ready to be eaten yet  ;) )

And chicken in yoghurt for dinner. Always a hit.
