He is extremely clever, driven and quite mad probably! But I still enjoy watching his show. I loved the Christmas one where he puzzled for days as to how he could incorporate myrrh into his meal. He ended up using the wood as forks as everything food he tried to make with myrrh was nasty tasting.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

He's on TV tonight doing a program themed around Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.  Apparently he has the guests licking the wallpaper - can't wait to see it  :D

Lots of people (?Jews included) treasure the "unborn" eggs.  They are just yolks without much white and no shell.

Good to think of the eggs like that.  We are funny creatures the way we construct our beliefs.  It is good to use as much of an animal as you can if you are going to kill it......intellectually I believe this but then I find the reality confronting sometimes.  I reckon Spanner and Spanner Junior might just give it a go with this seasons meat chooks.

Which channel is the chocolate special on?   It sounds great.

I reckon Spanner Junior could be a bit like Ceejay's son....good to know the house and thermomix survive.  The thermomix combines his favourite things food and a power tool!  He made us 'soup' out of a curry the other week.  Enthusiastically arrived at the thermomix before me and turned it up to 10 instead of off...oh well he isn't 3 yet!  He did go through a short season of chasing the cat with a butter knife after last years meat chooks. ;)

The chocolate special was on Channel 4 last night - you can catch it on the 4OD website if you missed it.   It was reviewed in this morning's Guardian and I'm definitely going to be watching it.

Maybe because they are now selling the program overseas?

Yes - so you don't know who won the Australian Masterchef - unless you trawl thru the old pages  ;) ;) ;) - find the winner hidden in old posts and see if you can win some bets with friends - good odds early on  ;D ;D
