Hi from WA

Hi,
We are in the process of ordering a thermomix, and I can't wait to try out some of these great sounding recipes.
I'm a mother of 2 beautiful boys, the eldest is 4 and our youngest has just turned one. The youngest seems to be gluten intolerant, and at least to some degree, egg and dairy intolerant (although not so much of those last two anymore). I have also been recently diagnosed as gluten intolerant. So am loving the idea of being able to make my own rice flour and the likes, as well as meals in general without having to worry about what goes into it.
I enjoy baking and decorating cakes, so will be interested to try some cakes as well.

Hi Jules, welcome to the forum. The TMX is ideal for people with intolerances, you will find lots of help here in that regard. We have a GF recipe book so be sure to order that too.

Me too
Should get a better idea sometime today.
And thanks, I bought the gluten free cookbook when I ordered the thermomix... Now just have to wait for it to arrive.
Its sad, 'Sir Tim of Mixalot' (the thermomix) has a name Sir Mixalot being husbands choice, and TiM being for ThermoMix

Hi and welcome Jules. I love the name you have chosen for your machine. I'm with CP63 with the yum and cakes in the same sentence.
Let us know how things go when you receive your machine.

The waiting is excruciating, isn't it? Welcome to the forum. Check out some of the forum member's blogs for even more great recipes and tips with the Thermomix.

Yep definately hanging out for Tim...
Since Thursday, I have made, a loaf of fruit loaf, 6 bread rolls, a small 3d bear and 3 square cupcakes which were banana and (a touch of) coconut, some spiced stewed apples, custard, a dozen muffins with the left over apples and custard, a lemon meringue pie and some lemon spread (all of which were gluten free). I've got a joint 1st birthday party next weekend here with 5 one year olds so will be baking 5 mini bear cakes, and some other party goodies during the week as well. Thinking the thermomix will be useful
