The tray worked well CC, thank you for that  ;)

Great looking bread JD!
What sort of tray is that you've used?

Tenina did some little rye rolls at a cooking class using a roux. They were so lovely and light.

Katie, here is the link to the baguette tray from Lakeland in the UK.  I haven't seen them in Australia but perhaps someone else has.

Thanks for the link JD
I want one of those!  Actually no I need one of those!!

I haven't seen them in Australia though, I have seen a metal one (Chicago Metallic brand) in some of the online kitchenware shops.  Yours looks heaps better though.

If I order it from Lakeland.uk I'll have to order a few other things just to make the postage cost worthwhile  ;D

Katiej when I went to Yokes sourdough class here in WA she had trays very similar. Not sure if she sells them outside of her classes (I had a quick look on her site Wildsourdough and couldnt see it there) but maybe you could contact her - maybe cheaper postage that overseas!

Katiej,  these look fab and Judy's bread sticks look great.  I bought a 'Chicago'  one for my son for Xmas and he loves it.  I think it was about $30.

I made these for burgers yesterday amazingly worked out my family couldn't believe it!  I got 8 buns out of the mix about 100gms each.  I cooked for 25 mins, in past my bread is always raw in the middle I think it's my oven.  I replaced 100gms of while flour with rye flour and some partially ground sunflower, linseed & sesame seeds.

Vivaroo I know what that's like not having an oven that could do the trick (especially read making)
No problems now I have a convection microwave and a fan forced oven.
Glad you had success :)
