Obviously they come out of the tins all right. They look fantastic, my kids would love these. They would be good sliced and placed in the oven until crisp and used with dip. Yum

Is there something at the end which pushes the cooked dough out or does it just fall out?  How much dough do you put in there to start with and do you give it rising time once in there?  Questions, questions, sorry but I do like that idea and need to know more about them.

Me too. How long are the tins and about how round please? Could you make a sandwich using that bread or would it only be suitable for nibbles etc?

Jd it just comes out normally but guess depends on the quality of the tins you get.. Cookie definately not for sandwiches they are made for aperitive, horsdoeuvres, canapes whatever you want to call them..they are roughly 18 to 20cm long and about 6 to 7 cm wide.. Just a decorative way to make them instead of the typical mimi squares... They are very common here at xmas and festive times and alot of people have either rillettes or similar, foie gras on a sweet bread or other selection of toppings

How much dough will depend on how big your tins are but no ore than a recipe with 250 g of flour.. The second rise is done in the tins jd..

Im sure astarra wilL get back to uou and tell you how she did hers

They are only usedfor nibbles type food and must be made fresh.. Not bread but when you cut and dress them they need to be served.. Some people use them in place of chips ie you have a few different sauces with a mini butter or pAte knife in each and just cut up the bread in approx 5mm slices and each do their own toppings..

Ive been looking for the mini squares tins but without success.. Only star, heart, flowerand round

JD, I just put 1/2 this recipe mix into each mould after the first rise, let it do the second rise in them then baked. They came out really easily, but I had sprayed them as mine are just ss, no non stick coating.

I am doing sandwiches using this bread for lunch boxes tomorrow, just need 2 instead of 1.  :)

They are lovely. You could give them a slight toast in the oven after they were sliced and use them too I guess.
