We ended up with crispy chicken, steamed kipfler potatoes & salad. The silence was golden while the boys ate

Pulled pork, rolls, coleslaw, salads and chips last night. I bought the piece of pork at a different butcher to normal and it wasn't as good as normal but it all got eaten. It's one of DS favourite meals and the only way he will eat coleslaw so he was happy.

We had friends for dinner last night, and I was determined not to turn the oven on as it's waaaaay too hot here ( it was still 30C at midnight). I made tandoori chicken salad and cooked the chicken on the BBQ, and it was a good choice. The only downside is that my MC has turned yellow from the turmeric.

Yes it was H. The kids really liked it, and even ate the lentils.

Was planning to have takeaways, but I feel like cooking now it is cooler here. Probably too late to change my mind as I have already mentioned takeaways to the kids. Drat!

So far I've had a bowl of ice-cream, a smoothie and a banana.

Great salad ES. My MC is stained too. I loved the lentils in that salad recipe. Boys ate them too, although one wasn't fussed but ate some.
Wonder, how do you cook your pulled pork?
No oven on here either. Still too hot. Made KIS sticky pork noodled salad. I really like it as it is a bit different yo what we normally eat, but not a huge hit with the males, so probably won't make again.
