DD cooked us spaghetti and meatballs tonight.  I'm sitting the kids whilst they go out for their 20th wedding anniversary.

JulieO I'll have to seek out the stew recipe and mushroom ketchup. It sounds Yum!

Itsnotart, here is the link for the mushroom thread and down the page is Judy's links to some recipes to use it in.  :D

We had Kimmy's sweet potato, feta and basil quiche. I roasted the sweet potato in the AF. It only took about 10 minutes. So quick and easy.

The a/f is perfect for roasting a bit of pumpkin for salads, quiches, tarts and risotto Chookie.  I used to hate turning the oven on to roast a tiny bit of pumpkin.

Judy I read some time ago that choice mag said it was cheaper to use the oven than  the phillips air fryer over time. I guess that would  depend on how many hours a week you use either.

I read that too Gert, before I bought the AF. Then I thought about the heat in the kitchen and bought the AF.  ;D

I rarely use my oven as the BBQ  does just about everything outside. Much cheaper to run too I reckon.

There are pros and cons with every purchase Gert but cooking for 1 seems such a waste of heat in a full sized oven and during heat wave conditions I refuse to turn it on.  Cost versus convenience - convenience wins out this time ;)
