Sounds very nice CC. You can't really go wrong with a Delia recipe.
Porcupine meatballs on stovetop the old fashioned way. Very bland. Can't seem to find a good recipe for these. Must keep trying.

I always found them bland when I did them in the 70's Kimmy, time to bring this recipe up to date with some spices I think.

I sometimes make them - but I don't use a recipe or canned tomato soup.
I use canned tomatoes, passata, chillies, herbs etc. Same with the meatballs, I just put in whatever I think will taste nice.

Perhaps next time you make them Katie, you could write down what you use and give us an updated version of this oldie.  I'm sure it would be appreciated.

I agree Judy. I did use some herbs and garlic in the meatballs but not the sauce. Definitely needs a revamp.

I've taken that recipe for Snap recipes CC. It looks lovely. I haven't made the porcupine meatballs for about 30 years. I was never a fan of them.  They certainly do need revisiting.

I made soba noodles today to use in a recipe from the cookbook that came with the machine: 'Soba salad with salmon & asparagus'.  DH really enjoyed this one and said it was perfect to have on our hot day as it's served at room temp.
Basically fresh salmon fillets, cooked and flaked then mixed with a salad of baby spinach leaves, cut up asparagus, avocado, the noodles and drizzled with a ginger, honey, soy dressing and a sprinkling of toasted sesame seeds.  Tasty and filling.  :D

Snap. We are having the same. I couldn't buy buckwheat flour so bought some buckwheat to grind the flour.
