We had Farfallina's
Borlotti Bean and Buckwheat Soup
and it was absolutely delicious. I made it a couple of weeks ago and froze it so I am not sure if the sitting time between making and eating developed the the flavour, but we really enjoyed it. It turned out to be more of a stew than a soup so had brown rice and quinoa with it. Definitely a repeat meal, especially in these cold months.

I ran out of all my stock concentrates last week and with BIL, MIL being unwell and me being busy and slack I haven't managed to get anymore made. I must do it so that I can make some more soup. Farfallina's sound lovely and I have some buckwheat in the pantry.

Bacon, eggs and grilled tomatoes to accompany what I am hoping is a successful sourdough loaf.

Chilli Ginger Chicken sounds lovely Cookie.
Funny you should mention stock, I asked my DS to make some vege stock the week before we came to Melbourne, knowing I would need it for a lot of recipes. He did as was asked, makes life a bit easier with stock on hand.
