Still eating stuff out the freezer and found a container of Beef in Stout for dinner. Can't even remember putting it in there :o I have some baby potatoes and savoy cabbage to steam to go with it.

Salmon and vegie for DD and I and chicken thigh for DH as he doesn't really like salmon.

DS invited us for dinner last night, we had fresh whiting (no bones) and calamari with salad, it was delicious.

Cookie, we are not fond of salmon either.  I remember one fishing trip we did when I caught lots of salmon and I just threw them back.  I did give some to another couple who weren't catching much.

Last night DH was going to cook a chicken in his Weber Q. However he left it quite late to start so we raided the freezer. Tonight we will have chicken in the Weber Q.

Prawn Cucumber and cashew salad. It has an Asian flavour. It is from the Louise Parker recipe file.
I am following her exercise and eating programme. Can buy it on line for under $10. No added sugar and low carb. Lots and lots of veggies.

Yes Judy, plenty of recipes to try. Didn't quite feel like giving the 5.2 another go although I really liked it and it worked.
This is a basic 6 week programme with exercises and walking. Not hard to stick to the food part but as my back gets better I am able to do more of the exercises.
Not cooking much bread. I have just discovered who eats most of it!!!

Tonight will be Quirky Cooking's Beef Stroganoff. Very quick to put together and tasty. It is served on Cabbage noodles, steamed in Varoma while strog is cooking.
