Slow cooked chicken with corn crisp crust , Ottolenghi recipe from Simple !
This took me all day but it was delicious ! I made my own Harrisa too .
It is like chicken mole really spicy with a light fresh corn batter on top .

It’s one of our favourite Salmon meals Chookie.

I cooked Chicken Kebabs tonight. I marinated the chicken pieces in yoghurt and spices overnight.

roast lamb and veges tonight, will make a soup as well. :)

Pork spare ribs . Another long recipe steamed in the Varoma then cooked in the jug . Sometimes recipes just fail this was fine but there was no marinade sauce , rescue quickly made up one with honey brown sugar soy pomegranate molasses and orange juice . Baked in the oven . Served with couscous and greens . Deliver roo to paddock for DH in oval thermosever. He did say how nice dinner was last night , phew .

We had quite a bit of our stir fry left over, so tonight I am going to make some noodles (in the pasta maker) to add to it and pop some more veggies in. Two meals for the price of one.

Layered Steak salad with vermicelli noddles , pomegranate molasses. Deliver Roo yet again to the paddock for DH . Boy has he been out there for days , one night till 1.30 am . DS got a drive tonight .

They work so hard at seeding time K Atie and the weather is always horrid
. I can remember not seeing Dad for many days at a time as a kid. He was gone when I got up and not back when I went to bed. At least at harvest you are governed by the dampness and the capacity of your field bins.

We are having RTE parmesan coated chicken.

So true Cookie , if we had a tractor driver it would have been better yet DH is in his element, maybe a little worn out . I have been doing deliver roo meals to keep him going and kids got to see a bit of him . Tonight egg on toast  quiet house DH coming home early as too late , dark to move equipment .
