We had cod from the Monkey Mia fish that was given to us, with chips in the AF  and salad.

Curried sausages. I have never made these so should be interesting. Any hints?

Silverside tonight.  I found a recipe for baking it in the oven, so giving this a try.  Just a bit worried that it might be a bit too salty so brought it to the boil first and then into the oven with a mustard mix topping on it..  Be interesting to see how it turns out.

Check out Skinnymixers version Chookie and adapt that to what ingredients you have. There are plenty of TMX curried sausages recipes online and some on our forum too.  https://skinnymixers.com.au/coconut-curried-sausages-thermomix/
Men in particular love their curried sausages.

Always use Skinnymixers curried sausages. Lots of sauce so add vegetables too.
Going to try Ottolenghi ‘s Puy lentil and aubergine stew from Simlple . Could do in the thermo but going stove top tonight. Hopefully DH like the break from protein.

We had Potato Pie tonight, fairly mushy. DD had more work done on her root canal tonight.

DH told me at the last minute that he was out for lunch today and only wanted a snack for dinner. Of course I had defrosted some chicken pieces overnight so had to cook something. I decided to cook Creamy Garlic Chicken that will be eaten tomorrow night.

Thanks for the suggestions for the curried sausages. Didn’t get around to making them last night.  Will do today.
We have had an explosion of new eating places in Ballarat.  Thought we would try one yesterday to celebrate Rals Platelet increase.  The one we tried was a fried chicken place.   It was like KFC only much nicer.  Probably not very healthy.  It tasted and looked just like my original KFC TMX recipe.  I went and spoke to the 2 young  chefs who own the place and gave them some feed back. I said the spice was perfect but too much batter on one serve.  They agreed about the batter. We could only eat 1/2 of what we ordered and they packed up the leftovers to take home.

The silverside in the oven was a success.  DH gave it the thumbs up, so we are having it again tonight with potato mash, carrots and brussel sprouts.

That’s a lot of food Chookie, no wonder you needed a doggy bag.

Gosh they are big serves.

We had a meaty, veggie soup tonight with some of Maddy's Cheese and bacon rolls. DD's mouth is still a bit tender and she was told to eat mush for 48 hours. I love soup at any time.

Blimey Chookie that’s a big portion.

We had the Creamy Garlic Chicken I made yesterday. Served it with steamed new potatoes and broad beans.
