We had a nice piece of steak with bacon round it. Like the old Fillet Mignon. We had AF chips and I cooked up some mushrooms and spinach in some garlic butter. It was all very nice.

Steak, squashed potato and greens. A local butcher grows his own beef.  It is very expensive but beautiful. We have some of his beef occasionally.

Last night I made sweet potato mash from Simple . Roasted scooped flesh then made a lime herb salsa to go on the top . Bonus sweet potato skins roasted for crispy skins . With chicken Kiev ( yummy butcher ones ) , DH said it was delicious and I have a reprieve tomorrow no cooking for me !!
DH came home and cooked dinner tonight Steak roasted veg and silver beet for greens ! DD DS made rice pudding in the thermomix for dessert ! Yes a win candles on table and a sneaky wine and soda . I was banded from the kitchen .
