Delicious looking desserts Ral ate Chookie. What was the pink dessert? It looks like a big piece of Rose Flavoured Turkish Delight.😋
Yes it was TurkishDelight.  Looked like dried crushed Rose petals on top. Staying at the Sofitel was incredible.  The staff went out of their way to spoil us.  DIL met us for morning tea.  Although the dining room was closed they served us coffee and Danish pastries for her. We are Plus members of the AccorHotels group. We were on a package.  In the end we paid 1/2 the going rate.
It was a shock coming home to Ballarat.
I drove most of the way home.  Feeling very pleased with self.
Dinner tonight.  Something from freezer.

I love to see people spoil themselves and you guys certainly did that for this getaway.  Well done Chookie & Ral and Sofitel.  You must do it again some time.

Your Sofitel experience sounded lovely Chookie. You deserve spoiling.
We had Stromboli for dinner. A straight forward dough spread with a sun dried pesto, ham, pepperoni, mozzarella, a little Parmesan and a few basil leaves. Very tasty and leftovers for DH tomorrow.

Cookie, that Stromboli looks interesting.
We are having potatoes in their jackets with left over mince topping and cheese with a few steamed veg.

The stromboli sounds nice cookie.  Tonight I had a jacket potato with a ham, cheese and coleslaw topping - one of my favourite quick meals.

Last night we had Fishcakes, unfortunately not homemade but bought. Tonight I’ve made Cottage Pie. Serving this with steamed broad beans, carrots and courgettes ( zucchini) DS grew the courgettes.

Snap Judy, we also had jacket potatoes for dinner last night.  Tonight will be some of the Apricot Chicken I am cooking, as what I took from the freezer for dinner is not going to thaw out.

I found some pork and veal mince hiding in the freezer so I made a spaghetti bolognaise.
