What's for Dinner Tonight?

We had a Cookidoo recipe tonight. Beef Buns. They were quite easy and with some chilli sauce, quite tasty.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

We had chops and sausages for lunch and a nice apple cake . Dinner was left over lunch for DD with some pasta . DS DH had scrambled eggs on toast . I had Tomarto on toast as did DH . More cake ! We planned to have BBQue lamb shanks but that will be another day.

Sausages .  Found some without onion or garlic. Cauliflower Cheese, peas and gravy.

I love sausages. We don’t have them as often now I have diabetes, so I enjoy them twice as much.

Cookie, I know how you feel.  Don’t have them often as they are rather special.  Just minced Pork and fennel seeds. Made locally here in Ballarat with Western Plains Pork. ( organic )  Very expensive. Can’t eat the ordinary ones as they are mostly flour, fat and preservatives. Have to just smell the Bunnings ones . Everything about them I can’t eat . Tomato sauce, white bread , onions and sausage.  :-X

I was about to say the opposite, Cookie ... but then I am a vegetarian and that would account for not liking the smell, although the smell of bacon on a barbecue or in a frying pan still hits all my "I would love some of that" buttons!

Marina, you surprise me.  I love bacon but don’t eat it often because of the preservatives.
Last night made mini Scallop pies in the mini pie maker.  Could have 2.   Added peas and corn to the mixture. Delicious.  Then made Ral Banana and custard mini pies.

Silverside tonight with potato mash, baby carrots and broccoli.  Will do a bit of coleslaw for me as well.

Venison pies, mashed potatoes and greens.
I was going to make RTE Creme Brûlée but noticed that they contained nearly 600 calories.  Will give them a miss. The TMX Forum don’t look so bad.  Maybe if I put fruit in the base they would be better.

We had some spicy prawns with coleslaw in wraps I made. It was very nice. I didn’t think DD and DH would like it but they loved it. I made the wraps from RTE.
