They are often the tastiest meals.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Made these tonight. SD crumpets, Rye and Caraway seed.  Was going to make loaf but decided on crumpets in stead.

Snap Chookie!  I made a chicken & veg soup in my elec pressure cooker today.  I made this quite a few times last winter as it was so good and comforting and I felt every mouthful was doing me good.

Judy mentioned a few days ago about a low carb bread mix (Atkins) that she saw in the supermarket.  I saw a box in Woolies and today while the soup was cooking I made it using the TM.  I'm so happy with how it turned out, only one rise before baking so it didn't take long.  I found that the baking time was half too so something to watch if anyone else has a go.
Was perfect to dip in my bowl of soup and I could imagine it would make a nice salad sandwich.  Texture is different of course, but I will certainly buy this to make again.  ;D

Julie, that looks good.
Bought a roll of pork shoulder.  Will unwrap it and cut it up into serves for 4 people. 1 cook, 2 meals.  Neil Perry has just published an interesting pork recipe with lots of dried mushrooms. Chinese influenced. Looks good.

I'm glad the bread worked out well JulieO. We had pizza last night. We all do a bit and it makes the evening meal so very easy.
We are having roast beef tonight.

Delicious looking food Julie.

I made Chilli-con-carne yesterday. Same again for tonight’s dinner.

Today for DH I made the recipe below.  He loved it!

https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r256224

For me I made a  Michelle B meal called 'Low FODMAP steak with grilled summer veg'.  I really enjoyed that as I haven't had a steak for so long.  Did it all in my airfryer.  :)

Thanks so much for trying that bread Julie, I don’t miss bread so I haven’t rushed into making it. I can now pick your brains though to find out a few things. It might come in handy when I start running out of food in the future though so at least now I know I have 2 loaves of bread on hand, even if I have nothing else to eat!  Did you leave it to rise for the longer time mentioned (I was going to) and how long did it take to cook please. What size tin did you use?  I haven’t made bread for so long and the directions on the box are not really very user friendly.
