DH has a pretty weird sense of humour. Yesterday he said we would be eating Pangolin next.

So tonight I made Pangolin pie for dinner.

Cookie, naughty naughty DH. Love the pie.
The pork belly we had last night was delicious. We had it with stirred fried veg and brown rice. Fresh fruit salad. Almost as good as the one Judy cooked for us.
Tonight mostly vegetarian lasagna. Lemon delicious.

I’m sure it was just as nice as the one you had here all those years back Chookie.
I had my main meal for lunch today, air fried lamb chops, an egg and some broccoli salad. I’ll have some soup for tea and ice-cream.

We are having a Chilli Haloumi salad tonight. If it's ok I will share it.

Duck breast with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Stewed peaches and cream. Peaches from neighbours garden.
Judy, your Pork Belly is the one Ral compares all by.

Our chilli Haloumi dish was nothing to rave about. We all prefer plain Haloumi.

Boys had a chop and sausage , girls had rice leftover roast lamb and vegetables. Mini icecreams and later a shared hot cross bun . The bakery started making them ,they were huge .

What does the daikon taste like please Judy? I’ve only ever eaten it in Singapore where it is steamed and then fried.
It was 37 here today so we had a salad of hot smoked salmon, beetroot, cannelloni beans, cashews and spinach. With some pickled red onion. It was very nice.

The first bite was strange but it soon became enjoyable and my brain was telling me it’s potato LOL. I will certainly be doing it again, there’s a few meals in a daikon unlike the red radishes. I had tried them baked too but the daikon is much better. I think it took 30 minutes in the a/f but steaming them first would cut that time down. As I’m on maintenance now I’ve started having baked pumpkin so a little bit more variety is opening up.

All the above meals sound nice. Thanks for the photos.
Last night we had roasted Turkey thigh with stir fried veggies. Left over quinoa and black rice. I picked the first of the Asian greens.
Stewed peached and cream.
Tonight the 2 leftover turkey thighs. Haven’t decided what to do with them yet.

I’ll be cooking a piece of salmon in the a/f with a veggie bake and spinach from the freezer.
