I thought I had taken a 1/2 leg of lamb from the freezer. When it thawed it was corned beef, not lamb. Didn’t really matter, we enjoyed it.

Chookie, that gave me a laugh. It happens here too when I forget to label things.

Last night we had a small rack of lamb with roast veg cauli & broccoli.  Tonight we are having home made pasties from the freezer with mashed potato, peas & baby carrots.

We seem to have quite a few bits and pieces of leftovers. None are enough for a meal, so tonight is leftovers night. With salad if any of us need or want it.

Chookie I remember as a young girl going to a friends house for dinner , she warned me her mum was a terrible cook and I didn’t believe her . She roasted corn beef  , it was like cardboard , too funny .
DD made dinner Asparagus risotto, but DS was starving teenage banter ! They are learning to improvise and plan a meal although planning has not come into yet . Now to try to convince DS he needs to cook a meal tonight although he seems to come home late with DH . Happy Father’s Day .

Grilled Salmon and steamed veggies. Ral has chips.  I steam lots of chips in the Varoma, keep them in the fridge and quickly deep fry until crisp.
Tonight, Roast Lamb.

I use the AF for our chips. Ours is almost worn out so I will need to get another one.

We are having roast beef with roast veggies tonight.
