I brought another Skinnymixers cook book Skinny Asia . We had rainbow sobs noddle salad with a satay dressing . Chinese lemon chicken too . Chicken was nice I changed it by using fresh garlic ginger and turmeric in the sauce . Bonus is as soon as you buy the book you have the ebook and can print off recipes as you like .

Tonight’s meal was a Celery Smoothie https://saltandbaker.com/celery-smoothie/
I made it before going down to the kids’ place for the day, it tasted better when I returned home than when freshly made.  Silly me, I used all frozen ingredients so should have only added water instead of ice-cubes to blend it so as a consequence the smoothie didn’t blend well and I ended up adding 2.5 more cups of almond milk with the sustagen to come up to a good texture. I’ll be having this one for breakfast tomorrow and my evening meal as well, I’m learning a lot as I go on this journey but so far have not had to throw any out.

We had pizza tonight.
KAtie I bought that too. That is where I got the Char Kway Tow recipe and the Caramel Brownie recipe.

One pot chicken bolognaise pasta , another Cookidoo recipe. Used pork mince and very tasty .
Cookie , I never eat Asian food as I’m allergic to MSG , so this will give me an opportunity to try more , obviously they have added too many commercial sauces , but I just remove and sub out . I  Always use fresh herbs and spices too .

K Atie, I am not familiar with any of the Asian cookbooks or recipes, but do know that there are recipes to make your own sauces, i.e vegan oyster sauce and vegan fish sauce are the two that I would go for.

Thank you Marina , I find even natural soy sauce Tameri strong and salty so I just omit the other sauces but there are like what you said ones around to make that are great too . Last night chicken bolognaise,  left overs .  We did have steak for lunch to fill DS up .

Easy Aspragus Smoothie for the next 2 nights https://iliveforgreens.com/easy-asparagus-smoothie/. Looks nothing like the recipe so I presume they added some leafy greens. I stuck to the recipe and added some sustagen. Very nice.

You’re definitely the smoothie queen Judy. A good way for you to consume your food.

We had the Pastie slice from recipe community to night.

Thanks cookie, that’s a nice thing to say.
Chookie I have written some recipes using coconut water but haven’t got around to them yet. I’m prepared for them though with 2 containers of coconut water in the fridge waiting for their turn.

Judy, your smoothies look and sound delicious.

Last night we had roast lamb & roast vegetables.  Tonight we are having salmon with potato salad & beans from the freezer.

I have book club tonight so we are having Tandoori Chicken and rice. I will get some focaccia out of the freezer as I don't have any naan in there.

Thanks Margaret. I bought half a large cauli, 1/4 cabbage, large cucumber and some avocados today then chopped up everything and froze them. I can hardly move in my freezers now but everything for my smoothies is highlighted in yellow on the inventories which makes them easier to find.
