Still struggling with food for one. Seems to expand in the pan while I’m cooking it!!  However I wait all year for the spring Asparagus to appear. It has finally hit the shops at an almost reasonable price. I made some soup with the stalk of a Cauli and Asparagus and chicken stock. Lovely. Asparagus tiny Quiche today. Tomorrow home grown Chinese veggies ,  Asparagus and beef stir fry.

Cookie your doing a great job with variety of your meals .
DH had been to butcher , so we had some criovaved eye fillets ,  infact they were wrapped with  bacon .

DH and DD spent most of today at a car show so we are having burgers.

Another hamburger Pattie cooked inside, to cold outside. 4 bean salad and asparagus. Custard slice from neighbours.

Bad migraine , so DS was in charge... tempura fish from the freezer home made potato chips and roasted carrots two asparagus! Decorated with a sprig of parsley. All on a small plate as he knows I will not eat much .

Made a Cookidoo recipe, Chicken meatballs in a tomato and eggplant sauce with risoni pasta and whipped feta sauce . Layered cooking . Was very filling DS said .
