I’m sure you’re happy to be back in your own kitchen and totally inspired with some new ideas Chookie. How did your weight go, some people come back quite a few kilos heavier.

Judy, I lost 3 kilos before I went and put 2 back on. They say that on average people put on 2 to 3 kilos a week. I don’t normally eat sweet at home but there were lots of different things to try. Also everything is salted, where I use very little in cooking.
With the warm weather I’m BBQing. Tonight grilled, sweet potato chips, green beans, tomato , nectarine and prawns. Served with Japanese rice. That is equal parts of rice and sweetcorn. Dressed with butter, sushi dressing and a little Soy Sauce.

We had RTE Chicken Fried Rice. It is very tasty and quick to make. Perfect for hot evenings.

Honey lemon chicken wings , rice carrots and sugar snap peas . Crunchy and very tasty but think I’ll use flour not baking powder next time .
