What's for Dinner Tonight?

We had leftover curry and rice, and chocolate mousse for dessert, with pecan-pineapple upside down cake coming up for supper! lol (I was practising the desserts for a dairy free, wheat free, grain free, etc, demo - so we're having a small main and a big dessert - hee hee!)

That looks nice maddy.  We had your sweet pizza using pita bread, quince paste and Castello White which Foodland threw out for $1.99 today.  Have always wanted to do a sweet one and it was nice for a change - we did have our main meal for lunch so I didn't feel guilty having dessert for tea.

Yum Maddy, that looks delicious.
I finally decided to make Trudys Honey Mustard Chicken and I must say that it was so easy and the flavour was yum!
I made rice and steamed brocolli to go with it. I did add a few mushrooms in the last 10 mins.
We are still waiting on the salted caramel maple ice cream as it hadn't frozen in the ice cream maker so I've just put it in the freezer.

It was 13 x 36 cm.  Had it for ages, and first time I have used it

Tonight we're having pizza (EDC base, with Quirky Jo's BBQ sauce and some leftover christmas ham...still!...) and a garlic bread plait.

"Mmmm" at first bite for DH so that's always a good sign

maddie what was the chicken like? i bought the magazine last night just for that recipe so would be great to get a review.

It was really lovely Wonder!
A little tedious cooking the chicken in small batches (I used 3 chicken breasts), but worth it for the flavour.  Do allow yourself plenty of time before dinner, to fry the chicken.
Next time I will cut the chicken a little thicker than I did.
Think it would also be lovely with pork too.

I'm cooking lamb chops in my new Scanpan frying pan today - yipppeee!!!! And braised lentils in the Thermomix   And American chop salad in the tmx too.
