We have a choice tonight because I made three casseroles for DS No 1. He's working for a farmer who's still harvesting. We're going away tomorrow and he'll be here on his own. Working days are extremely long, sometimes 16 hours or more, so he has no time to cook.
I made Spaghetti Bolognaise, Mild Chicken Curry and Savoury Sausage Casserole. None in the TMX, but much of the prep done in it. One was slow cooked in the oven, another in the slow cooker and the other on the stove. In between I made CP's Chocolate Peppermint Slice, my Smartie Biscuits and 2 dozen of my Pasties. Whew! I'm exhausted and enjoying a red wine right now...

A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Quick Spanish Beef - threw in the leftovers from yesterday's salad (cabbage, julienne carrots, baby spinach and rice stick noodles) obviously minus the chicken, peanuts and vietnamese dressing - really very tasty, DH is taking it for lunch to make into jaffle.

We had homemade pizza cooked in the convection microwave. Turned out perfect. No photos though sorry.

They may think we're mad but forum members love these photos so who cares what others think
Tonight we had leftover chow mein over leftover jacket potatoes.
